Perkwell (“the app”) is a personal tool for tracking your own credit-card benefits, sign-up bonuses, bank-account bonuses, and payment due dates. Your privacy is simple to explain because the app is built to keep your data on your device.
Nothing. Perkwell does not collect, transmit, or share any personal or financial information. The app has no user accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party trackers.
All information you enter — cards, benefits, bonuses, bank accounts, payment due dates, and notes — is stored only in a local database on your device. It is never uploaded to us or to any server, because Perkwell has no backend and makes no network connections for your data.
We recommend you do not enter full card numbers. The app only asks for an optional last-4 digits to help you tell cards apart.
Perkwell lets you export your data to a backup file and import it on another device. This file is created and read by you, through your device's own file picker. The backup is written to the location you choose (for example, your Downloads folder or a cloud-drive folder you select). Perkwell does not send this file anywhere; what happens to it after you save it is governed by the storage or cloud service you chose.
Perkwell requests only the access needed to let you pick a location to save or open a backup file, using the Android system file picker. It does not request access to your contacts, location, camera, or accounts.
Perkwell is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new “Last updated” date.
